Monarch Acupuncture & Wellness Welcomes Their Newest Acupuncturist: Roxanna Nejat

Roxanna Nejat, LAc is a California Board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist. Her interests include martial arts and Chinese medicine, and she loves studying and researching ancient herbs.

She holds a B.S. in Psychology from Portland University and an M.S. in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Roxanne is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Chinese Medical Gynecology and Pain Management.

Roxanne completed a residential mentorship program at Three Springs Institute a few years back. During her time there, she spent nine months living in a forest practicing martial arts and gardening techniques.

The calmness and serenity of the forest allowed her to develop a deeper understanding of the five senses and how to use them to create harmony in personal and professional life.

She has also completed 300 hours of advanced clinical observation at Zhejiang University hospitals and Zhengzhou University hospitals. She spent most of her time working in integrative hospitals that integrate Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine approaches to treat patients.

Roxanna has completed 60 hours of biomedical observation under Dr. Camran Nezhat, MD, FACOG, FACS in Palo Alto, CA.
